Yeah, you're here. You know what it's about, it's not any different than the hundred other sites that have an art page. This is the entryway into the area of Gorgon:Art that pretty well follows its namesake. Here you'll find the artwork that G:A's contributors and artists have hand-crafted for your enjoyment, amusement, or, in some cases, your general apathy. With luck, the galleries here will grow. Anyone with a folder in the files or photos section of the G:A Yahoo! Group will eventually get their own gallery here, and they also have the opportunity to include a biography or write-up of themselves here on the G:A Website... all if they so desire. Artists can of course can be as anonymous as they want, too. We're not reasonably inclined one way or the other. The only rules you'll find here are these: images should depict immobility or transmutation into inanimate forms, and that art and images here on the Gorgon:Art website are created, whether in digital or more classic form, from scratch. Just like the Gorgon:Art Yahoo! Group, we're striving to keep to the self-created expressions of transmutation and inanimation. But then, if you made it this far, you likely knew that already. Oh, and please keep in mind the rights of the artists who created this fine bunch o' work. We have the legal BS on the main gallery pages, but beyond all that, please remember that the artists who post here are doing so with the knowledge that they will receive proper credit for their work, and that overall, it their choice of when and where to post it. By all means, ask their permission before doing anything with it. That said, most art that appears here will first be appearing in the Gorgon:Art Yahoo! Group, as well, so if you want to get the new stuff first, that's your place to go. We reserve the right to do otherwise later, just cause we can be capricious like that, but chances are none of this will be new ground for G:A members. Enough talk. Go. See. Enjoy! |

ABOUT ARGO |
||||
|
You all know about Argo. He's just
weird. Oh, and he does 3D art. I don't think we need to say
anything else about him, because God knows what that would do to his ego. |
The Co-Conspirator to the creation of
Gorgon:Art, JMD mostly writes, but dabbles in Poser from time to time.
These are some of his own creations. He tries to say he has no
talent. We usually backhand him when he says that. |

MINUS269'S GALLERY Updated! |
BOB'S GALLERY |
|
||
|
Minus269's 'strip' style of 3D artwork is
definitely one of the most unique styles we've ever come across.
Some of this work has a darker bent, some of it not so much... all of it
is awesome, though, and leaves us always wanting more. His latest
works have shown a growth in talent that just makes you shake your head
in awe. But we try not to give him too big a head, lest he end up
like Argo. |
This gallery is to house
stills from Bob's awesome animations, as well as anything he might wish
to put out for our perusal. Due to the way the galleries are
created, we can't house the actual file formats within the gallery, so
we have linked these special files here for your ease of downloading:

CMQ'S GALLERY Updated! |
|
|||
| There's nothing else that needs to be said about CMQ's (slowly growing legendary) hand-drawn and digitally colored Heroine Perils series aside from WOW! CMQ's artistic ability and ability to mesh heroines and statuary perils just flat-out leaves our jaws consistently dropped. If you want to see what heroines should look like when they end up on the bad end of the Midas touch, CMQ's who you see. |
Take Hub City's super-heroines, a trio of
characters from the Medusa Chronicles, and a pair of villainous
vixens... mix well and serve. Oh, and as if Argo doesn't have
enough plugs here, he did the art for this little storyline and the
ending comic. |

BAS'S GALLERY Updated! |
|
|||
| Bas admits he's
just now starting to get the hang of using Poser. If we were
anywhere near this good while we were just starting to get the hang of
our 3D programs, we'd be raking in cash working for Pixar now.
Seriously, Bas' work has some of the best Poser-based metallic
sculptures around... and we doubt that's all he can do. |
Tyler Kojen is another artist whose work with hand-drawns flat leaves us astounded. His work has some serious Manga overtones and influence, and it's a very clean style all his own that's downright beautiful. A self-professed newbie to the group, he's come a long way in a relatively short time, and could very possibly be trying his hand at writing and illustrating in the future. And if that isn't enough, he's getting better all the time. | |||

KURT'S GALLERY |
|
|||
| Kurt Cagle, proprietor of the Medusa Yahoo Group (located HERE!), devotes a great deal of time to crafting and collecting pictures of Medusae, as well as Nagas and Lamias, and has been kind enough to give us samples of his Poser work that includes the victims of his beautiful snake-tressed lasses at G:A. Hopefully more will come in the future. We first came upon his work at Renderosity, and are thrilled to know he's one o' us (even if we doubt he'll ever admit to it. ^_^). | Well, you asked for it, and... Okay, so it wasn't you who really asked, it was me. And 'asked' is probably a really nice way of saying 'begged and pleaded for something like this'. But Anne Onymous and Robin Ericson of The Wotch fame have been kind enough to offer a few choice comics and drawings our way, and we couldn't be happier. Their style is so clean it makes anything I've done look overdrawn by comparison, and their sense of humor is awesome, too. Take a look, and hit their comic site while you're at it! | |||

OTHERS' GALLERY |
||||
| Well, with Bob getting his own gallery now and all, that sort of leaves us shortchanged in the Others' gallery. But that's okay. This will still eventually house gallery images from those select few who have not yet gotten their own art gallery yet. So get to work! ^_^ | ||||
