Yep, you read right. Articles, believe it or not. In writing-speak, this would be where you would find more non-fictional musings on 3-D art, petri-/statue/immobiphilia, writing, and our various other likes and enjoyments. Think of it as the Lifestyle section of a newspaper... only the articles you find here will be more along as a Gorgon:Art sort of bent, naturally. We've got ideas for articles as varied as the best pickups for 3-D art and your general 'what Agalmatophilia means to me' sort of editorials. These articles may or may not be of interest to anyone... we can make no guarantees one way or the other. But the primary idea behind them is to inform, to give opinion, and to offer something different. If there's any major difference between these and the Tutorials is that these articles may not be quite so pointed toward showing how something can be done, as they are to give a sort of loose forum for conjecture and just general non-fiction. What you find here may be wildly varied from article to article... and in fact, we pretty much expect it to be that way. Of course, we highly encourage others to submit ideas and articles, because each person's opinions and ideas are uniquely their own. Anyone wishing to submit articles can either be post them as attachments via e-mail to the Gorgon:Art Yahoo! Group, or post them directly to the Files section there in the usual fiction text formats (RTF, DOC, HTML or TXT), or send them via mail to the webmaster here. We ask that created articles at least attempt to be 'positive' in nature, in that there is no malicious intent to flame, insult or offend. Other than that, everything is pretty much fair game. And of course, if you have response to any of the articles, you are also encouraged to post those to the Yahoo! Group, or in e-mail to the page's creators or the article author, where that e-mail is noted. Please do keep in mind that almost without exception, the articles here are not meant to slight or insult anyone, and in some cases they are solely meant to provide personal editorial opinion that not everyone is expected to agree with... after all, part of the beauty of a fringe fetish like ours is the myriad of ways it can be interpreted by those who enjoy it. And speaking of enjoy, we sincerely hope that you enjoy what we're putting together here. Read at your leisure. |
