We're all about both learning and teaching here at Gorgon:Art. After all, neither JMD nor I are masters of any craft, and while once in a while we try to impart what we do know, it's always good to spread the wealth of knowledge all around. So this section-- the Tutes Wing, as we call it-- is all about doing just that. Here you'll find tips and tricks for crafting images, stories, and other immobility- and transmutation-based bits of creativity. The idea here is to have tips for 3D and 2D artists, tips for writers and plotters, and just general nuggets of helpfulness for creative sorts. Some of the links below are to tutorials found across the web. Of course, we have plans of hosting our own tutorials, and Gorgon:Art fans, enthusiasts and creators are more than welcome to create their own tutorials and submit them for any subjects they'd like, be they on ASFR-style interests like how to make statuary, mannequins, or 2D figures in art programs, or on more mundane things like light settings, cloning techniques or multi-render compositions. Of course, anything that caters to the creative process-- writing, idea conception or the like-- is welcome, as well. Feel free to send those tutorials, preferably in HTML format, (and please, if you use pictures, include them... if it helps you to compress them up into a zip file, that's fine!) to argoforg@earthlink.net. Hopefully these will provide you with some of your own ideas, or give you an idea how to do something you might not have figured out how to do before. If so, then we've done our job well. Enjoy! |
